MinesweeperHQ is an independent website built and maintained by a solo developer. The goal is simple: one fast, clean place to play Minesweeper, learn it, and get better at it. It is not a company product, and it is not affiliated with Microsoft or any other game publisher.

How the content is made
The game, lessons, and solver share one set of board rules, written for this site. No Guess boards are accepted only after a logic verifier finishes them. The solver works only from visible clues, calculates exact probabilities where it can, and says so when a position is too large to score. Guides are written for this site and every worked example is checked against the solver; historical facts on the records and history page list their sources.
Advertising and independence
The site is free to use. It may show advertising in the future to cover hosting and development. Ads will never be placed on or beside the game board, and the privacy policy will be updated before any advertising or analytics service is turned on.
